Air Purchases Announces New Vendor Partnership with Allied Air Enterprises, a Lennox International Company™
Air Purchases recently announced its new vendor partnership with Allied Air Enterprises, a Lennox International Company™. Under the partnership, Air Purchases will now offer New England contractors the Armstrong Air® and Ducane® lines of residential HVAC equipment, and the Allied Commercial™ line of rooftop units. The announcement was made during “Driven to Help You Succeed”, a festive all-day roll-out event at F-1 Boston in Braintree, MA. The more than 100 contractors in attendance had a chance to meet with members of the Allied Air management, sales, marketing, and technical teams; learn more about the features, benefits and advanced technology behind the three product lines; and take part in a lively hands-on product “teardown” session. They also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from Mass Save, Blue Wing HVAC Marketing, and Navigate, which offers businesses critical human resource, employee benefits, payroll, and compliance assistance.
“Our guests were interested and engaged, and that was exciting to see,” said Air Purchases Vice President Jim Travers. “These are not new players in the industry; Armstrong Air is one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers of residential and light commercial heating and cooling products in the US, with a legacy that dates back to 1928. But I think some contractors had their ideas about what Armstrong Air, Allied Commercial and Ducane were and weren’t, and those got totally blown out of the water during the roll-out event. These are solid, quality product lines that are easy to sell, service, and maintain, and they come with few of the tedious ‘barriers to doing business’ that exist with some of the other major HVAC manufacturers in the industry today.”
Following a prime rib and roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, 50 contractors showed their competitive spirit and raced for free courtesy of Allied Air and Air Purchases on F-1’s challenging City Track. Rodney Tavano of Tavano Mechanical clinched the first-place gold trophy, with Jon Richards of Speedy’s HVAC grabbing the silver, and Jeff Rossi of RER Fuel Services, Inc., earning the bronze.
Contractors also won big with raffle events, taking home an iPad Pro, a Yeti cooler, a Cabela’s pontoon boat, $50 gift cards, and Bruins tickets. Air Purchases Vice President Jim Travers and Allied Air District Sales Manager Mark Richards teamed together to award three contractors $1,000 towards a new Armstrong Air system.
“In Allied Air, we have found a manufacturing partner who shares our vision, our values, and our commitment to putting the contractor—the lifeblood of our business—first,” said Air Purchases President Rob Engel. “That commitment is reflected in their approach to business —both with us and our contractor customers. It’s evident in the quality of their manufacturing processes and equipment lines, and it’s there in the wide breadth of sales, marketing, and technical tools they make available to contractors to help them build and grow their businesses. We look forward to a long relationship with Allied Air. They are exactly the right partner to help us and our contractor customers grow forward into the future.”
Headquartered in Burlington, MA, Air Purchases is now in its 48th year of business. The company maintains branches in Brockton, Dedham and Hyannis, MA; Williston, VT; and in Manchester, NH, where it is known as Engel HVAC Supply.
