Frank Engel

FOUNDER/CEO

Under Frank’s leadership, Air Purchases evolved from a two-man operation into one of New England’s largest independent wholesale distributors of HVAC equipment and accessories.


Rob Engel

President

Rob was named company president in 2003. He holds a business degree from Boston College, is a former regional trustee for HARDI, and currently serves on WIT’s Board of Advisors.

Jim Travers

Vice President

Named Vice President in 2016, Jim is responsible for the company's sales and business operations.


Diane MacPherson

Marketing Manager

An award-winning marketing professional, Diane holds a degree in Marketing from Franklin Pierce.


Ray Klinger

Business Development Manager

A seasoned veteran of the HVAC industry, Ray is responsible for business development in our northern markets.


Josh Baer

Business Development Manager

An experienced sales professional, Josh is responsible for business development in the company's southeastern markets.


Bryan Sparks

Territory Manager

Bryan has 20 years of successful HVAC sales and management experience. He holds a BA in Business Management from Plymouth State University.


Alex McWilliams

Territory Manager

In the industry since 1982, Alex is an experienced contractor/business owner and design engineer. He holds a BA from Bowdoin College.


John Davison

Fujitsu VRF Territory Manager

A knowledgeable trainer and seasoned HVAC sales professional, John joined us in 2016 to focus on the Fujitsu VRF product line.


Tim Conrad

Fujitsu VRF Manager

A former HVAC business owner with 30 years’ industry experience, Tim brings valuable knowledge to our contractors and dealers.

Steve Butler

Branch Manager, Hyannis, MA

Steve began his career at Air Purchases in 1989 and has managed our Hyannis branch since 1998.


Darrell Ouellette

Branch Manager, Manchester, NH

Darrell joined Air Purchases in 1994 as a counter sales person. He has managed our Manchester branch since 1995.


Tony Ruzzano

Branch Manager, Brockton, MA

Tony joined us in 2005 as a driver and counter sales person. He has managed our Brockton branch since 2008.


Bill Carle

Branch Manager, Dedham, MA

Bill was named branch manager in 2014. He has considerable experience working with contractors in the field.


Chris Jankowski

Branch Manager, Williston, VT

Chris began his career at Air Purchases in 2006 and has managed our Williston, Vermont branch since 2016.

Sharon Mangano

Customer Service/Programs Manager

Sharon began her career with the company in 1985 and was named Customer Service Manager/Programs Administrator in 2006.


Donna Russo

Credit Manager

Donna joined the company in 1988. She provides expert assistance to our dealers and assists our customers with all things credit-related.


Chris Kowalczyk

FIeld Service Representative

A skilled trainer and FSR, Chris joined us in 2014 with over 25 years of industry experience. He studied HVAC design at Northeastern University.


Pat Varley

Parts Manager

Parts Manager since 2014, Pat’s an industry veteran with significant HVAC experience. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Suffolk University.

Fabrication Shop Manager

A highly experienced veteran of the sheet metal industry, Rob has managed our fabrication shop since 2003.


Brad Malcom

Warehouse Manager

Brad joined us as a driver in 2007 and has successfully managed the company’s warehouse operations since 2013.

Shipping/Receiving Manager

Mario joined us as a driver in 2002, and has successfully managed our shipping and receiving operations since 2013.

Warranty Administrator

Mary joined the company in 2000. She works with our customers to expedite returns and process warranties.
