4Air Purchases Local Advertising and Marketing Support
At the local level, Air Purchases works with our dealers to help them fine tune and align
their marketing efforts to reap the full benefits of Trane's efforts at the national level.

Whether you're considering Yellow Pages, newspaper, television or radio ads, direct mail,
newsletters or local home shows, we have the tools and expertise to help you analyze
your market area, determine where your money is best spent, and help you ensure that
you get the maximum return on your investment.

4The Marketing and Advertising Resource Center (MARC)

We even provide you the resources you need to easily create professional advertising
messages on your own. As a Trane dealer you have free access to (MARC), the Marketing
and Advertising Resource Center on Trane's ComfortSite intranet. There you'll find a wealth
of helpful resources, including professional design templates for Yellow Pages, newspaper
and magazine ads, direct mail, web site banners, high quality images, even envelope stuffers.
There are also radio ads, TV spots and more that you can "tag" with your own logo, message
and company contact information.

4Expert Marketing Support
Air Purchases also works with our dealers to develop customized, professional marketing,
advertising and public relations materials
that may not be available within the MARC system.

Co-op Funding
Air Purchases makes co-op funding available to our dealers to assist with their advertising
and marketing efforts. Co-op is based on a percentage of your purchases. Higher co-op
percentages are given to dealers whose efforts align with Trane strategies, simply because
it's been proven that these yield significantly greater results. Dealers sometimes ask us, "Why
should we spend our money to brand Trane?" We ask, "Why wouldn't you take advantage of
the power of Trane's extensive national efforts to drive leads to your doorstep where you
can then brand your own dealership and make that consumer your customer for life?"

4Annual Dealer Ad Club
Air Purchases also works with Trane and our dealers to co-fund an annual Dealer Ad Club.
By pooling our resources, we empower our dealers to reach markets and media in ways
they simply could not afford to do on their own. During our Spring 2008 ad campaign, for
example, we yielded nearly 4 million impressions with our online advertising alone. That's 4
million opportunities for targeted consumers to see a Trane ad and locate a Trane dealer
in their local market area through a built-in online search function in the ads.

Leads generated from the Ad Club are screened through Trane's national call center and
forwarded on to our dealers. Aligning our local advertising with Trane's national efforts
significantly increases leads for our dealers. That's the power of integrated marketing!

4Trane Comfort Specialist Program
The Trane Comfort Specialist (TCS) program is a superb tool for dealers who desire to deliver
the absolute best to their customers and truly set themselves apart from the competition.
TCS dealers also receive additional benefits from their relationship with Trane and Air Purchases,
including preferred status for lead referrals, specialized marketing materials designed expressly
for TCS dealers, customized web site design, discounts on fleet purchases, phone services and
more. Your Air Purchases territory manager can help you understand the many benefits of
